About this tour

800 species across 16 hectares of Atlantic Forest

Just 300 meters from Iguaçu National Park, Parque das Aves is a 16-hectare conservation sanctuary with over 800 bird species from Brazil, South America, Australia and Africa — many of them endangered. Toucans, macaws, crowned cranes, hummingbirds and hawks share the grounds with caimans, freshwater turtles, anacondas and butterflies in enclosures designed to replicate their natural habitats.

Full immersion in the enclosures

The park's standout feature is its immersion enclosures: spacious forest environments where you walk literally among the birds. Colorful macaws land on visitors' shoulders, parrots approach out of curiosity, and the butterfly and hummingbird sanctuary immerses visitors in dozens of species in full flight. Visits of up to 2 hours that perfectly complement a day at the Falls.
