Brazilian Falls — from downtown hotels
The wide view of the whole falls, along the Brazilian-side walkways, with an accompanying guide. From downtown hotels.

The tour has three parts: crossing the forest in an electric vehicle, a walking trail down to the river, and the boat ride up the Iguaçu canyon to the base of the falls — where the boat goes into the falling water. About 2 hours in all, with 25 to 30 minutes on the water. Nobody comes back dry, and that is the point.
Bring a change of clothes: the boat soaks everyone, no exceptions. What you carry goes in a dry bag handed out on the spot. There is no minimum age, and minors ride with a guardian. The National Park ticket is not included — Macuco happens inside the park, and admission is bought separately.
Electric vehicle through the forest, guided trail and the boat ride
Charged separately, per person: the Iguaçu National Park fee. Children up to 6 go free and ages 7 to 11 pay half, with ID. The operator also gives half price to students, seniors and local residents, but for Brazilians only — ask at the counter.
