Brazilian Falls — from downtown hotels
The wide view of the whole falls, along the Brazilian-side walkways, with an accompanying guide. From downtown hotels.

It begins with a ride through the forest in an open vehicle, along the Yacaratiá trail, and ends in the boat that runs up the Iguazú river to beneath the falls on the Argentine side. It is the counterpart to Macuco across the border, and the difference is the vantage point: here the approach is by the Tres Mosqueteros falls.
The operator requires age twelve or over and an original ID — no copies, no phone photos. It turns away pregnant women and anyone with heart, lung or spine conditions, osteoporosis or reduced mobility. This is not red tape: the boat is rough. Bring a change of clothes, because you get wet.

Minimum age 12, with original ID — below that there is no boarding, which is why there is no child discount. The Iguazú National Park fee is charged separately, per person. Bring valid ID for the border crossing.
